corrupted configuration file

When the tool is launched by multiple users/computers from a network drive the configuration file get corrupted would it be possible to get this opportunity back ( it was not a problem in a previous version )

Btw, using write intensive application on a network drive - not a good idea.

There is no error message,

And actually after reading a little bit more the documentation, I think everything is at it is supposed to be. Just as it is mentioned, now the password is encoded with a key which includes computer name.

Would It be possible to

1. Have a parameter for data location?
2. Check if the database is already open in write mode and in this case open it in reading mode ?
3. Optional : regularly check if database is still open in write mode and go in write mode to continue to append datas
