I do agree this is a big issue. For some projects, it can be one more security problem - just imagine incorrect/missing validation on one of the empty parameters, and...

@Surfield Well, my patch is not perfect. 🤷🏼 It was meant to be a hotfix until the maintainers of the project bring back the old behavior.
