Plugin Breaks Site with Missing .edgerc

If the plugin has not set the .edgerc file location (and/or the .edgerc file is missing), the plugin breaks the site, especially on save events. There is no graceful degradation or error handling. The plugin hasn’t been updated for over a year. This plugin is in need of fixing this minimally.
