Should wasavi settings be synchronized among devices?

Chrome has a synchronized storage API: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/storage So should wasavi use this API to synchronize its settings?

While the sync itself is nice - did you consider migrating the current settings? I found myself unpleasently surprised by a clean slate after the upgrade. Is there any way to restore the settings (even if I have to do it manually)?
