Wasavi editor does not work on discord

If I use wasavi vim text editor on discord, I lose the ability to submit the text or edit

I've tried it on multiple channels, message chains and it simply breaks until I reload the page, at which point I lose whatever was written because I cannot also copy or paste the text.
