duplicate highlights when extracting a second time

I was trying to import a PDF book with 300 pages/5mb. It took about a minute for the note with the extracted highlights to load. After reading and highlighting more pages in the PDF I clicked the "PDF" button again and it appended all highlights below the original highlights. Maybe my use case isn't a good use case for this plugin?

I have a similar problem where if i do three sessions of Highlights I will get 3 times the first sessions highlights e.g. Session 1 = I do 2 highlights Session 2 = i do 3 highlights Session 3 = i do 1 highlight after each session i run the PDF Highlight icon result on my page

AFTER First Extraction the note looks like: SOURCE HEADER1 PDF Link.pdf highlighted text 1 highlighted text 2

AFTER SECOND Extraction the note looks like: SOURCE HEADER1 PDF Link.pdf highlighted text 1 highlighted text 2

SOURCE HEADER2 PDF Link.pdf highlighted text 3 highlighted text 4 highlighted text 5

AFTER Third Extraction the note looks like: SOURCE HEADER1 PDF Link.pdf highlighted text 1 highlighted text 2

SOURCE HEADER2 PDF Link.pdf highlighted text 3 highlighted text 4 highlighted text 5

SOURCE HEADER3 PDF Link.pdf highlighted text 6

Try to delete the old note with the extracted highlights and then click the "PDF" button again repeat this step every time you add new highlights in the PDF
