Finding the same issue, doesn't seem to discard all inactive tabs.

This is a must-have. In WorkFlowy I constantly copy the URL for one bullet into the note area for another so I'm able to use the hyperlink to quickly move...

After experimenting with this a bit more I think it's ideal if each item had a global unique ID e.g. find out an item's ID via command mode 'show $id'....
