No metadata found
Hello everybody, I'm enjoying this program, but I have an issue with metadata. All my files are imported with no metadata, and I cannot find where to add them myself.
Can you help me?

By default Codex scans comic metadata. There is a setting in Codex's admin flags under codex.your.tld/admin/flags/ to not do this. It's unlikely, but possible that that setting is turned off.
If your comics have no metadata included in them, Codex will attempt to extract a few metadata items from the filename.
If your comics have no metadata and you would like to add metadata to them, unfortunately Codex cannot do this at this time.
The best way to add comic metadata to my knowledge is Comictagger. It features a cli tool, a handy desktop UI, and smart agents that match your comic with entries in online databases and retrieve metadata.
An auxiliary tool for editing comic metadata that is only more useful than Comictagger in small peculiar ways and missing the majority of Comictagger's more useful features is Comicbox, which I only mention because I make it and it's what Codex uses to read comic metadata under the hood.
