Screen refresh issue, still problem on Android (reportedly fixed on iPad)

Issue #405 is still present on Android using version v1.6.17. Tried both Chrome and Firefox on 2 different tablets (Samsung and Lenovo).

First tap on a folder or comic just reloads the page, second tap selects it with and overlay and an eye icon for comics, and a menu ... for folder. Third tap opens folder or comic.

(Other than that it is a fantastic product, well done!)

I made a change in v1.6.19 that tries to apply the same behavior I used to fix iPad browsers in Desktop Mode to Android tablets in Desktop Mode.

If this fails to fix the problem, please adjust the browser settings to Desktop Mode and Mobile Mode and tell me if there is different behavior on Android. Detecting Mobile browsers in Desktop Mode is a bit of a dark art, so I may not have detected all browsers.

Thanks for a quick response. I just pulled version 1.6.19 and deleted all data in the browser on my Android tablet (cookies, cache, etc.)

In mobile mode, still same result. User string reported by whatsmybrowser.org is "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 10; K) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/124.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"

However, switching to Desktop mode, then everything works as expected. This was actually not the result in version 1.6.17, then desktop mode behaved just like mobile mode. So something has changed for the better!

Happy using desktop mode, so perhaps close with an info note on the use of desktop mode.

Ah. Thanks for the info! I had assumed that mobile mode was fine, so I made the fix for desktop mode. I’ll see if I can fix mobile mode as well.

I moved the fix to affect all Android browsers in v1.7.0
