Preview does not display in some OS X configurations

I am using VS and the LaTeX Preview on a MacPro with 4K monitors (latest OS) and on a MacBook Pro. When I run on the MBP it is almost perfect - I can adjust the display size, etc. and I see all of the slides.

One my MacPro I only get a display of very small slide images. If I resize to a larger (and readable) size then I only see slides >after< the first 100 or so slides. (I am using Beamer).

Any tips, help, etc. would really be appreciated.
