Describe the problem

I get an error on the widget when I try to add my Bedroom heater (which is a heater on a smart plug) or my bedside lamp (which is also a lamp on a smart plug, this time set to type light) Type sun in fine.

Logs

Hi, I assume you provided an entity with the type of switch? We currently do not provide a possibility to invoke automations or switch entities.

What about light entities?

I'll have to check that with my own instance. Sadly, my server currently does not run due to maintenance. I will come back as soon as it runs again.

#1799 adds the possibility to trigger automations. Will that resolve your problem?
