Org-mode agenda stops working with edwina

When using edwina, my org mode agenda stops working. It shows just

This is how I configure edwina:

(use-package edwina
  :ensure t
  :config
  (setq display-buffer-base-action '(display-buffer-below-selected))
  (edwina-mode 1))

With edwina running, after executing the agenda command, the following is found in the messages buffer:

funcall-interactively: Buffer is read-only: #<buffer *Org Agenda(a)*>
