Video stops playing when a Sponsor is skipped

I've noticed if I switch tabs or minimize Firefox when a sponsor segment is skipped YouTube will just stop playing the video until I give focus to the tab again.

This is happening to me too! Any solutions?

I have tried to disable "media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground" in Firefox about:config, but I'm unsure if this is the actual issue. I would like it to work without this setting.
