[Bug] Video Pauses after skipping sponsored segment

Recently have been experiencing a bug where the video will be paused after skipping a segment, this usually needs a user to manually click on the play button again to continue watching the video.

Apologies if this is not a new issue, can't find a instance it was mentioned.

Same issue here. I am using Microsoft Edge

As a Firefox user who also uses autoplay disabled I assumed this is because skipping too far/quickly to where you run out of buffer seems to take the video back to a paused state. A heavy system load where playback cannot keep up can also cause pausing in Firefox.
