Ignore submissions from specific user / Blacklist SponsorBlock segment contributor

I find that on some channels, ESPECIALLY so on LinusTechTips' videos, certain people are VERY aggressive and unforgiving with their segment submissions, as well as with what they consider a "sponsored" segment. I would love to be able to blacklist this specific contributor, because I almost always disagree with the way that they tag segments.

Maybe when downvoting a tagged segment, a checkbox could appear with something like "Ignore future submissions from this user?".

Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBIdAMcvRhY around 20:01 - 20:07 (Segment ID: 6f9a712e3ab62420d90bc4358a7478a51429c843ea1d838993e2f6371dc72e937) Linus says "Notice how much quieter the [sponsor product] is compared to [our own silly version of the product]?" Sure, this is a compliment to the sponsor, but it is also a general comment on what they themselves have built, which is the whole point of the video.

Maybe I'm in the minority with my opinion here, and that's fine. That is why I want the option to ignore specific segment contributors. Specifically when it comes to LinusTechTips (and the associated channels), I get the impression that someone in the SponsorBlock community has an unhealthy obsession with aggressively tagging out of spite. I don't know why, and it bothers me that I cannot watch these videos with my default SponsorBlock settings (auto-skip sponsors) without having to hit "un-skip" several times.

I've thought about this as well, but it would require a lot of added complexity. To block users, would mean to make it so other options can still be submitted, which would require a redesign of the lock system, etc.

Thank you for the super quick response. It makes me sad to hear that it would be troublesome to implement it, but I'm happy to hear that it is something you have thought about. Praying that we get to see it some day in the future. Thank you for your work!

In this case I think the user should receive feedback that they are being blacklisted

This would also require the blacklisted user to disable notifications or blacklist certain channels/users from notifying them that they were blacklisted.

I'd rather recommend VIP contributors to block contribution to any channel from general users. It's really easy to switch to a new ID and there's almost nothing to prevent that.

And there's not much to stop channels from de-facto whitelisting themselves and blacklisting others by selecting VIP contributors.
