This PR includes:

  • the upstart fix from @xdissent
  • commented out a logger (seems to require another version than what is available in ubuntu/precise)
  • updated documentation
  • simplified paths

@airtonix Cool, btw, I think my "log problem" is due to an older version of python or the module? I couldn't figure it out. Is there a way to "correctly" advertise dependencies, or to for example stop if they are not met? So it becomes easier to upgrade, etc.?

Anyway, this code has been working very well for us since I opened this PR.
