Metamask support doesn't work

when I click on Connect Wallet and select Metamask, I get a "Trust Wallet Extension" page that gives me the choices of 1) creating a new wallet, 2) importing or recovering a wallet, and 2) connecting a Ledger wallet

so I don't get an option to connect using Metamask. furthermore, if I select #2 above, it asks me to set a password and then proceeds to ask for my BIP39. obviously I'm not doing that

how am I supposed to connect using Metamask?

p.s. WalletConnect is also broken, so I can't seem to use AirSwap at all
