ETHLisbon will take place on Oct 28-30, 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal The conference budget requested from the DAO is $7.4K for ETHLisbon Hackathon participation:
- $5K to sponsor event
- $800 for 2x flight tickets
- $1.6K for allowance for 2 members
Rationale
ETHLisbon (Oct 28 - 30, Portugal) is an Ethereum-focused hackathon based in the crypto capital of Europe. AirSwap seeks to build awareness about our product to the broader Web3 community, and incentivize developers to leverage and integrate our technology in their apps. This hackathon is a good opportunity to reach out to the international developer community based in the crypto-capital of the world, and to invite more devs to build on our protocols.
More broadly, AirSwap should begin to encourage members and contributors to attend blockchain events in strategic cities and regions where robust Web3 communities exist to showcase our project. The DAO should support some of the associated travel costs and needs of delegates.
