Specification

• Deploy AirSwap v3 contracts on Moonbeam and Moonriver.
• Moonriver is a companion network to Moonbeam that exists on the Kusama blockchain, a companion blockchain to Polkadot.
• New code ships to Moonriver first, where it can be tested and verified under real economic conditions.
• Front-ends will have the ability to integrate AirSwap once deployed.
• Swap fees assessed on AirSwap will be the same as Ethereum mainnet.

Rationale

AirSwap’s mission is to become the standard DeFi protocol for peer-to-peer trading. From AIP 49, the AirSwap DAO has established a multi chain strategy to prioritize rolling out AirSwap protocols to various chains. We have already successfully deployed on ETH, AVAX, BSC, and Polygon.

Moonbeam is a Polkadot Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform and parachain that makes it easy to build natively interoperable blockchain applications within the Polkadot ecosystem. AirSwap would achieve first mover’s advantage in the Moonbeam ecosystem as the first peer-to-peer RFQ and OTC Dex on Moonbeam.

AirSwap’s unique RFQ and OTC protocols would be valuable to these projects, and we should deploy our contracts quickly there to take advantage of it. We will also continue to actively reach out to projects on the Moonbeam network who might be interested in integrating AirSwap protocols.
