• The Avalanche Summit (March 22 - 27, Spain) is a conference for developers, researchers, and makers building on Avalanche
• AirSwap should encourage contributors in the region to attend the Avalanche Summit and interact with other developers and projects in the ecosystem
• This AIP requests $3.6K to sponsor 2 AirSwap delegates to attend
• Noema will be the point-of-contact to decide and explain who will attend
• Delegates will present their findings to the DAO after the event

• The Avalanche Summit will take place on March 22-25, 2022 in Barcelona Spain
• There will be a hackathon taking place afterwards from 25 - 27 March
• Conference budget requested from the DAO
  • $1.2K - 2x conference tickets
  • $800 - 2x flight tickets
  • $1.6K - Allowance for 2 people

Rationale

AirSwap recently launched its contracts on Avalanche. This conference is a good opportunity to reach out to the developer community in Avalanche, and to invite more devs to build on our protocols.

More generally, AirSwap should begin to encourage members and contributors to attend blockchain events in their local cities and regions to showcase our project. The DAO should support some of the associated travel costs and needs of delegates.
