AIP 52: Create French Channels and Develop French Community
Summary
- In DeFI, the French community is present on every project (Curve , tezos , paraswap)
- AirSwap DAO wants to expand within the French DeFI
- Communicate in French with the AirSwap France twitter
Rationale
AirSwap aims to expand its community, the French community has been chosen for the start of the program. In the DeFI ecosystem, the French community plays an important role, whether in the creation of protocols but also in the use of the latter.
Some french communities statistics
Journals :
- Journal du Coin : 98k french readers
- Cryptoast : 100k french readers
- Cointribune : 30k french readers
Communities :
- DeFI Francophone : 3000 members with multiple crypto CEO
- The Diggers : 8000 active members
This AIP will also be a template for others communities (Russia, Spanish, Italian, English ...)

Several points to make it better - what is the expected timeline for these projects e.g. AMA, articles to be published?
Under "Rationale", could use more statistics e.g. how big is the french community, expected audience size. This would better inform voters about the impact of the project
For projects like AMA, articles I would give the Q4 timeline. It's not gonna be a one shot publication, more like several articles about the web app, the release, some promotion due to the release , etc etc

might not need a total number but examples of french defi channels and their numbers would be good enough estimate I think. or if the journals know how many members or readers they have would also be useful :)

Yes, this will be given every weeks to also improve the community framework
Nothing against the french but I am against funding on behalf of any country/language.
