Can't login with non-google account

Title. I have AirMessage set up to not use my google account but there isn't a button to login on web.

AirMessage uses Google push services I think, when in account mode. Using those services without a Google account is likely not possible.

I also really appreciate AirMessage, and use the Android App without a google account. I would like to use the web app but I do not wish to use a google account. I run DivestOS Android distro so that I can avoid google in general especially when it comes to communications related systems... Is it possible to self-host airmessage-web without using a google account the same way as the Android AirMessage app works without google?
