Text message forwarding not working

When a mac has text message forwarding airmessage seems to have trouble texting in a conversation when using text message forwarding. This causes it to fail and locks up messaging.

Do you know exactly what causes AirMessage Server to lock up and fail to handle outgoing messages? Is it when you send a message to a text message forwarding conversation?

It seems to lock up when I send a text message through message forwarding and it attempts to send a imessage which fails
