Is this repo dead?
No updates in more than two years and the Airgap Vault versions is old: https://github.com/airgap-it/airgap-distro/blob/master/distro_build_script.sh#L22
I also don't see a newer deb release of Airgap Vault.
Can someone from AirGap provide some info about this?
Looks like there is no longer a .deb file on the main vault... So I guess so.

This project (airgap-distro) is currently not actively maintained simply because there was no interest for it at the time we created it. We also did not have automated *.deb builds for linux set up, so updating this project was mostly manual work.
We just recently added vault linux builds to our the CI (see https://github.com/airgap-it/airgap-vault/actions/runs/1169558901), so with that we will be able to revive this project and keep it up to date without much work. We will however have to do a couple of tests because there was a lot of development since the last release and we need to make sure everything still works.
The current builds are failing, is it safe to assume that there won't be any updates here? I just set up an airgapped and encrypted VM on which I wanted to install AirGap.
Thank you for your work and I understand that you don't want to spend time on something that isn't being used. Can you recommend an alternative that works like AirGap that can be installed on Linux?
