Error installing through DKMS

It works when using make && make install, but on trying DKMS it fails with this in the log file

DKMS make.log for 8812au-5.6.4.2_35491.20191025 for kernel 5.15.0-56-generic (x86_64)

That moduleseric/build seems to me that is incorrect, but I cannot find where it comes from.
