Google Play services error

I'm getting this error when i run the app on some devices :

App is having trouble with Google Play Services. Please try again

I had the similar issue and could see the following in Logcat:

Google Play services out of date. Requires 13400000 but found 13280022

Updating the Android SDK and Android Emulator helped me to resolve the issue
