Add the docker socket path used by Docker Desktop for Mac

In macOS with the latest Docker Desktop app, some users report that the docker socket no longer exists in /var/run/docker/sock but $HOME/.docker/run/docker.sock. Let's add it to the default search paths, while users are still able to override it by setting the DOCKER_HOST environment variable.
