There's a new sqlalchemy major version release which does have a lot of incompatibilities with current aim code-base, which causes to use older versions of sqlalchemy. There's a need to refactor some parts to be able to use sqlalchemy v2.

Motivation

To be able to use aim with newer and better dependency versions.
