Imgur does support HTTPS (https://imgur.com, for example https://i.imgur.com/JmUGY7D.png), so it's safer to return HTTPS link for Imgur upload.

There is a program on Windows called ShareX and when you take a screenshot it uploads right away and plays a little sound to say it was successful upon uploading...

On systems with no compositing the black overlay for the area selection is completely opaque which makes the tool rather useless.
