Disabling the automatic straightening of freehand drawing lines?

I would like to be able to disable the current behavior of the freehand drawings which tries to straighten the lines as much as possible, which turns my (rather curvy) handwriting into an almost undecipherable mess. Is this possible?

Added a simplify_freehand_drawings config option in https://github.com/ahrm/sioyek/commit/957f1ddfdc7f1599997a5fe3d1047553c6138d0b (it is enabled by default).
