Option to make mouse scroll-wheel scroll instead of zoom while unfocused

I sometimes used to scroll with the mouse wheel on my previous pdf reader's unfocused window so that I can write in my editor while reading the pdf at the same time.

This does not seem to work in sioyek. While focused, the mouse wheel scrolls as expected. However, when out of focus, the mouse wheel instead zooms into or out of the page.

I'd appreciate if you could implement some option (or point me to an existing option in case I missed it) to change the behavior such that I can scroll with the mouse while unfocused.

Tested on v2.0.0 with default configs.

This is already the case for me on windows. I assume this is a window-manager related issue on linux?

hmm, could be. I'm using sway if that helps

Tested on a default config sway 1.9 and I have the same behaviour
