Any updates or alternatives available?

Hello!

Our team noticed this seems to no longer be working nicely with our app. We're not sure exactly when it stopped working, but we're on Ember 2.12 and it seems to behave in different strange ways for different members of my team:

• One person, on Linux, does not see the little offline box appear when internet is disconnected
• Another person (me), on Mac OS X 10.14 on Chrome, sees the offline box appear when I disconnect internet, but then the offline box does not go away when I reconnect the internet

Does anyone have any alternatives? Or is there any maintenance on this add-on planned?

I have just had offline.js working manually and configured it in index.html. But had that with bower which is pretty old so was looking for better solutions which is how I ended up here.

As it seems there is no up to date offline solution todate. Offline.js is years old and not maintained by the looks. @robclancy so yeah I am here for the same reasons. It seems like that no one has a need for something like this anymore as online / offline events are now adodopted by all major browsers. I ran into issues where ios safari (or wkwebview) is firing the offline event delayed after the fact (up to 2sec) which created some issues with my error handling. So to me these events are not really the best solution.
