Feature Request: Preview SVG

I'd like to request a feature. I would like to be able to preview received SVG data (image/svg+xml) if the browser supports it. I'm willing to tackle the task myself if you could give me a few pointers on where to start. Thanks.

@BrannonKing great idea ... I will add it in the next release ... I've already added some image preview logic in my experimental branch ...

the code base is currently a mess, I will be starting a cleaning up effort in the next week ...
