Allow usage of booklight on new tab page

Currently, it is impossible to invoke booklight on the chrome new tab page. Is it possible to add such a feature? I understand that booklight works by injecting divs into the page at runtime, however is it possible to use a chrome plugin api etc. to allow it to do so arbitrarily i.e. anywhere in chrome?

Getting things running in the new tab page requires a complete overhaul. I will keep that marked as a future thing. Always feel free to fork and collaborate as well :)

For some reason it now works, at least on the chromium new tab page in ubuntu, maybe it's platform specific.
