I don't know personally, so I just asked Fluendo if they know/can help. ...Have you tried asking Qt community ([irc channel](https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Communities)) if they would know?

I have been able to reproduce this issue on Arch/KDE for a while as well, I just have been lazy to report this :D

Arch linux just updated their ["kde-unstable" repos](https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=231957) which includes now Qt 5.10-beta4, and after I moved to it I notice that this issue had changed (..so its a Qt5.9.x problem?)...

this issue has been resolved in the "git" version...at least on arch using Qt5.10.1

It's apparently broken because of api changes and lack of documentation from twitch #288 I doubt it will be fixed either https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink/issues/2680#issuecomment-557605851
