Risk of bricking the console

Its 2022, i would like to try out NitroHax on my 3DS, but i read an issue here that NitroHax bricked someone's console. How is NitroHax right now? Is it safe to use?

NitroHax cannot brick the console, it doesn't have any code that interacts with the console's NAND at all so there's no risk of bricking.
