It would be nice if you add this tool as a package to the official repos so one can install it with dnf. Another option would be to merge it...

Why. not consume the output of `dnf needs-restarting` ?

I am using dnf-automatic and wouldn't mind getting restarts as needed. Can you help me understand the philosophy here versus dnf needs-restarting?

Hi, https://dnf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/automatic.html#configuration-file-format you can now do reboots directly in dnf-automatic :)
