[REQUEST] Using this on an Android car audio (but no Android Auto)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm using an iPhone with an Android car radio (a Junsun X7 Pro 11.5'', got off of Aliexpress) where the "main screen" is as pictured below. This means no Android Auto.

In the top right area where Carplay is visible, you can place pretty much any Android app installed. I currently have Torque Pro there, but with some caveats. I found the aa-torque project and tried to used it there, but I found two issues:

  • one is that the apk does not setup a app icon in "all apps" list, which others do (Torque, etc). The only way I found to load the app is to install it again. This also prevents the app from being loaded in the car audio dashboard I mentioned earlier.
  • The dashboard loads rotated 90 degrees, which doesn't happen with any other app.

Describe the solution you'd like a) To have an app shortcut icon like other apps b) To be able to control the dashboard rotation...?

Describe alternatives you've considered Using Torque Pro.

Thank you
