Adapting the code for a small-scale test

Hello. I want to run the code on my own M1 Mac, but I can not find where exactly I can change the number of CPUs and machines. I have already changed the population size to be small(10), and also the _C.PPO.MAX_STATE_ACTION_PAIRS to 1000, and the _C.EVO.SEARCH_SPACE_SIZE to 500. I would appreciate it if you could let me know about the changes that I should make, and how to change the number of CPUs and machines.
