No Support for .cc extension

Operating System: KDE Neon 5.19 64bit

cc is another c++ extension recommended by open source community over cpp, I generally use .cc because it saves few miliseconds of time while creating file. Although the code is same in both extensions still the cph-extenstion doesn't support .cc extension. I want it to support both extensions is all.
