Purr Data v.2.20.0 reinstallation - Issue with libglib 2.0-0 version

Open joe-rouen opened this issue 6 months ago • 0 comments

Further to my previous issue with Purr Data #63... I'm trying to reinstall the former working 2.20.0 version under Linux Mint 22.1 but with no success. I'm getting a libglib 2.0-0 (>= 2.39.4) error (the dependency can't be satisfied). See here-below window capture.

When checking the changelog.Debian in /usr/share/doc/libglib2.0-doc, it's stating: glib2.0 (2.80.0-6ubuntu3.4) noble-security; urgency=medium. So can I understand that on my machine libglib2.0.0 should be = to libglib2.80.0 (which is higher than the 2.39.4 requirement).

As a user can I fix this issue or is it up to the developer? Thanks. Joseph
