GUI client does not display messages with encoding error

Hi,

by default I use the GUI client. I have two different messages that are displayed as empty. After checking with the sender we found the problem. The problem does not exist in the CLI client.

Both have an encoding error (related to an Umlaut).

Is there further information I can provide?
