gap within wireline data results in missing bugged disappearance of second part

As per the image below:

Top part of the image is the dataframe plotted, Lower part the resulting well plot.

There appears to be no difference whether importing from LAS or from dataframe.

Additional neat bug: when applying the same basis as for other logs within the same well (i.e. step = 0.2 becomes step = 0.01), the entire log disappears:

Yet everything is there when we fillna with 0:

Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
