Thickness analysis

We have histograms, but it would be nice to be able to measure mean thickness in a running window to produce a log (say).

Also, I'd like to limit the analysis to certain beds, eg via a boolean striplog (a la NumPy indexing).

As Kieran mentioned, this was solved in a notebook — could be rolled into Striplog.
