Can MASAC algorithm be applied in environment with discrete action spaces?

The source paper【https://arxiv.org/pdf/2104.06655】 of the MASAC algorithm encapsulated by xuance supports discrete action space. Why can't MASAC be applied to discrete action space?

The MASAC algorithm for discrete action spaces differs significantly from that for continuous action spaces. Currently, the MASAC implementation in Xuance does not support discrete action spaces directly, but we plan to add this feature very soon.
