Thanks for your question. You've come to the right place! 😊 As explained in the book, the function you're looking for is available in this github project. Specifically, it's near the beginning of the notebook for chapter 1.

More generally, every code example in the book is available in one of the notebooks in this project (there's one notebook per chapter). There's also some extra material in the notebooks, such as several tutorials. I've also taken out some of the long and boring code from the book (including the function you're looking for), but everything is available in the notebooks.
