sir what is the difference between a predictor and an estimators in scikit learn

Sir, could you please specify the difference between estimator and predictors in scikit learn which u elaborated in your book on page no. 61-62

The difference between an estimator and predictors are that an estimator uses data to guess at a parameter while a predictor uses the data to guess at some random value that is not part of the dataset.
