Add Android Studio to compatibility list
Agent Mode in Android Studio now supports AGENT.md files, so we'd like to be added to the list of supported IDEs!

Sorry, wrong file.
The android studio mentions 'AGENT.md' without the 'S', which was an older proposal by AMP.
AMP has now changed to 'AGENTS.md' with the 'S', which is what this site / list is about.
It would be misleading to include android studio as supporting the 'S' version when it doesn't actually support it yet.
Ah apologies. Our documentation is actually not accurate. The product does actually support the right file (AGENTS.md) - we recently discovered our docs and metrics had a typo, but the implementation is actually correctly recognized and using AGENTS.md.
We can update our documentation this week. If we do, would that meet your requirements?
UPDATE: we were only supporting AGENT.md in previous releases by mistake, but now support both for compatability reasons going forward. Support is updated in latest releases.
I suggest you get your documentation in order. The page also mentions Gemini, so it's not clear if this is just using Gemini (which is already listed -- just your docs are wrong), or if there is something specific in Android Studio.
If it is just that Android Studio uses Gemini, and Gemini supports AGENTS.md, then it's maybe not worth a separate entry. Maybe discuss internally in Google with the Gemini CLI team and the Jules team, what you want/need listed.

Could you please append to the end of the list?
Done!
do you have a timeline on when the docs will be fixed
They are updated as of today!

The agent in Android Studio is a specific and different implementation from Gemini CLI and Jules. The overall AI feature set in the IDE is branded "Gemini in Android Studio" historically because we were only supporting Gemini (Google) models until very recently. We are now opening up support for non-Google models, starting with local models.
Hi folks! Fixed latest merge conflicts. Friendly ping on further instructions or guidance!
