500 internal server error when uploading file

When uploading assets through the asset manager, I'm getting a 500 internal server error. The server is a Cpanel. PHP version 7.1. I've checked the permissions on the folders and they are fine. Any idea what it might be? Not getting any errors in the local log file.

Same issue here upload via assets return "something wrong" but upload image via image works just fine.

I resolve the Issue just enable "fileinfo" PHP extension in your server

same issue here thanks to @firewoodpellets for solution. i upgraded from php 7.3 to php 7.4 and add fileinfo extention than problem solved..
