Drifting
making the car drift when steering makes sense, but just slowing down when pressing brake (or a handbrake button :wink:), not as much.
implementing ways which cars can drift by braking can be fun to see implemented, and maybe with tracks that makes the player learn advantages for it (see link on #37) would be nice too.
what do you think? :3
I am all for it, but you have no idea how many attempts I made at getting a playable drift behavior. I haven't cracked this yet.
have you tried making the friction for the car variable? maybe using a modifier for when the turn and skidding(idk the word) reaches a certain point(s)?
